How We Find and Check Coupons
This page explains where the offers on CouponCreative come from, what the Verified label means, what happens when you press Show code, and what we check each week. We keep it short and we only describe what the site really does.
Where offers come from
Our team adds offers to CouponCreative from lists we prepare and upload. Every store has its own page, and each offer on it shows what the store says about it, such as what it applies to and when it ends. We only show details we have. If an offer has no end date, we do not make one up.
What the Verified label means
The Verified label is added only by hand. It appears when a person on our team has checked that offer ourselves at the time we add it. No offer found by automated tools or by AI is ever given the Verified label, and our AI tools never add it. An offer without the label is still listed, because it was not part of a hand check.
How Show code works
Many offers have a coupon code. The code stays hidden until you click the Show code button. When you click it, the store opens in your browser through our affiliate link, and the code appears in a box on CouponCreative with a Copy button. Copy the code and paste it into the promo code field at the store’s checkout. Offers marked Get deal do not need a code: you click the button and shop through the store’s page.
The affiliate link is how the store knows you came from us. It is also how we earn a commission. See the Affiliate Disclosure.
Checks we run every week
- Every week an automated check looks at the stores’ websites to see whether they still load, and it finds links that are broken.
- The same check lists offers that are past their end date and offers that have been on the site for about six months without any end date.
- The check only reports. A person reads the report and decides what to do, and nothing is removed automatically.
When a code does not work
Stores change their terms without telling anyone. A code may be limited to certain products, to new customers, or to orders above a minimum. Open the Details on the offer to read the conditions we have, and check the terms at checkout. We cannot guarantee that any code or deal will work for your order.
If a code fails, please report it on our contact page. Tell us the store, the offer, and what the checkout said. We use your reports when we look at that store’s offers again.
